Yoga with Sarah

Hello everyone, I'm Sarah, a Wincheap resident and yoga teacher.
I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to join me on Sunday mornings, 9am to 10am, for a gentle, beginner friendly yoga class on the Lime Kiln playing field overlooking the orchards. Please bring a mat if you have one, but I will have a few mats in case you don't.
Classes are free and I invite you to make a donation if you're able to the Wincheap Orchards campaign.

Get ready to stir your creativity with a refreshing walk on the public footpaths at Wincheap Fields! This in-person workshop is all about walking for inspiration - explore the outdoors and let your thoughts flow freely. Join us to connect with nature, spark your imagination, and kickstart your writing in a fun, relaxed setting. Perfect for anyone looking to mix movement with creativity! Meet at the playing field at the top of Lime Kiln Road, Wincheap. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Stout footwear. There is a hill at the beginning of the walk. Following on from this in the following week (8 August) there will be a writing workshop held at the Canterbury Library Community Room from 1.30-3.30 pm. Victoria Field will lead us in considering themes around the orchards, our locality and its ecosystems, moving towards active hope. Light refreshments are available.

A workshop led by poet Vicky Field to write a creative piece about Wincheap Fields. Wincheap Fields - Walk and Writing Workshop 2: Writing We have up to 14 places available for a writing workshop to be held in the Canterbury Library Community Room at the Beaney on 8th August from 1.30-3.30 pm. Victoria Field will lead us in considering themes around the orchards, our locality and its ecosystems, moving towards active hope. Light refreshments are available. Prior to this (on 1st August) there will be a walk on the public footpaths around Wincheap Orchards and Fields. This will enable workshop participants to take notes, photos, or simply gather inspiration/process some thoughts, but is not exclusive to those attending the workshop. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the walk.
